"It's in kind of an odd location and the decor is dated and mismatched, but the food is delicious and they clearly take pride in their traditional dishes."

"Love their fish stew. I've never had it before this place and can't believe I've missed out. I keep coming back for their cod cakes and try the fried yucca with dry meat. This is my go to ALL the time! Passion fruit caipirinha is essential since it's not too sweet and a little sour  Also - go with a group (like 3+) The food does take a while to come out so m..." "Tripe Stew is awesome everything else looks good. The portion was a bit small for $15.00 and I was looking forward to some pork belly in the stew which never materialized the waiter said it was cut in tiny pieces so I guess it dissolved. The taste was good and looking around me everyone else's table had beautiful food including this gigantic fried fish on th..." Read more

"Very accommodating staff. Highly recommend the Shrimp Bobo & coconut shrimp! Stay away from the Caipirinha as it tasted like a pre-mixed, over sugared, and little alcohol (if any) drink. It's a shame for a Brazilian restaurant not to do this signature Brazilian cocktail well."

"The seafood stew is good. I ordered it with mussels and fish, both smoked then stew in a tomato base soup, it's a bit salty but goes well with rice. The side gravy also tastes great."

"Got dinner here on a Saturday night - the place was pretty crowded, though it seemed very family friendly. A lot of the seafood and moqueca entrees sound very similar, and we opted for the mariscada, which came with a plaintain moqueca and crumbled plaintain topping, and the fish moqueca, which came with a side sauce. The rice was fragrant and both of the se..." Read more

"Their specialty is called "Muqueca" and its a clay pot with seafood in a broth. You can get it with plantain or tofu."

"This is truly one of the gems of East Cambridge. Full of flavor and character, Muqueca provides a great, albeit a bit noisy when the blender is going, dining experience. It is a bit pricey, but there's enough to share for two or for tomorrow's lunch."

"The food was really good. The beer list is rather small, but my girlfriend said the Sangria was pretty good. The food was absolutely fantastic however. Definitely check it out if you're feeling Latin American/Brazillian food."

"This place is ridiculously good. Is been three days since I ate there and I am still craving the taste of their Picanha. It is an unbelievably savory piece of red meat served with rice fries and black beans. If you like the spicy stuff you can put some of their house hot sauce on it which is just as delicious. I'm not big into seafood but my mother, cousin a..." Read more
