"I placed an order for delivery through Ubereats for a veggie lasagna and 2 panna cottas. I ended up receiving 1 panna cotta that was half full, melted and smelled sour so I didn't end up eating it, and the lasagna said "no cheese" even though I didn't request that (In fact, I specifically wanted to order something with cheese which is why I chose the lasagna..." "I ordered the tagliatelle with the white sauce, I did get it delivered. Sadly I did not enjoy my pasta, there was flavor lacking in the sauce. I thought that it would be more tasty, it tasted a bit watery. I was able to bring it to life with some garlic, mushrooms and some parm. I will definitely try it again once we are out of quarantine."

"I'm from NY where a plate of good Italian food isn't hard to find. The Italian Homemade Co is the blandest, most unflavored Italian food in the Bay. I ordered the Veggie Lasagna, Garden Salad, and tiramisu. Took a couple of bites of the Veggie lasagna and didn't finish the rest. Bland, Boring, Not feeling this place at all. This place wants to be UOVO,..." Read more

"I went to pick something up and the guy was pretty rude to me at the cash register, enough for me to write this review. He's like "lady your order is right there". I understand that they could be stressed and it was really busy, but I felt like he was picking on me for some reason. I didn't hear him talk that way to anyone else like they didn't deser..." "I haven't ordered pasta in a restaurant in years, but I'd heard so many good things about The Italian Homemade's pasta that I felt like it was *the* place to try. I ordered the vegetarian ravioli with marinara sauce, which sounded delicious, and by all rights should have been. Oh, my goodness gracious, what a disaster. This is the pasta about which I've hear..." Read more

"The first time I came here, it was on a whim. My husband was craving good pasta, and we found The Italian Homemade Company to hit the spot. I was delighted to find three different types of gluten free pasta made in-house every day. It was great! The second time I came here, it was with my entire family in law late on a Friday night. The place was more..." Read more

"Got delivery from here and it was mediocre at best. Ordered the fettuccine bolognese and the lasagne and I can honestly say I would rather have had frozen stouffers."

"Don't come here on a busy night because the quality of food suffers and you will have to fight people for a table. I made the mistake of coming here on a Friday evening, so not only was the service poor, but the food as well... overcooked pasta, lasagna with a cold center, and bolognese that tasted watery."

"I feel like I might need to come back and try the pasta that everyone is raving about. I stopped in to get something to-go for lunch and ordered the veggie cassone, which is sort of a flatbread calzone. It was warm and served with a side of sauce. It was a little difficult to eat though since the crimped part of the crust was extremely hard, kind of like a t..." Read more

"I'm torn between "disappointed" and "highly disappointed." I was excited to try this place after hearing about it from a friend and reading a bit about it online. I sadly compared it to Grassa in Portland (Nope, doesn't come close.) when I told Ferguson we were going to get pasta in Berkeley. We got there on a Wednesday evening and, after l..." Read more

"Today is Sunday. I walked in when it was just open, 11:15 am.Success of a restaurant rests importantly on consistency, of food quality and of service. But today I regret punching 15% tips on my bill. The Lamb Ragu with Fettuccine was terrible. Too much oregano made the sauce 'salty' - a mouthful of herbs (exaggerate!) And the pasta was over cooked...." Read more

"Went here for dinner this evening and was really disappointed by the pasta. Both the tortellini and papadelle pastas were tough and almost rubbery. The gnocchi was pretty good but will likely not be back."

"Food is good, coffee is good but expensive. They still blast music at disco levels, so it is painful to sit inside the restaurant. The tables outside are very nice. Today, I lasted about 30 minutes before the music drove me out the door. It's astonishing to me that after many reviews complain about the music , they still don't do anything about it. ..." "I went in the other day to give this place a try since I miss AG Ferrari. I tried a flatbread sandwich and salad. One of the items fell on the floor (provided it was wrapped in aluminum foil to go), but they just picked it up and shrugged and put it in my bag. Another guy, the manager I think, saw it all happen and didn't say anything. Food was OK. I still m..." Read more
