"Did a takeout of Tiramisu. It was $8 ($8.82) with tax for a small piece. Total rip off.
It wasn't even set fully and didn't taste great either.
Would not recommend it.
Bakers and common on the other side of the road has it for nearly half the price and tastes much better."

"Went to this place because my wife was craving pasta before giving birth. We spent $48 on two plates of pasta. Cacio e Pepe and a Black squid spaghetti with baby squid. It was homemade, but unbalanced. The pasta was homemade, but the sauce wasn't balanced to the pasta. They just tossed the pasta in the sauce....didn't cook the pasta in the s..." Read more

"Expensive and mediocre at best. Food comes out fast but just looks like a clump. Pasta was drowning in pesto sauce while the marinara sauce was watery. The gnocchi was like hard pieces of chewing gum. The pasta is suppose to be fresh but honestly I can't say it's any better than dry packaged pasta from the grocery store. I was excited to try the tiramisu b..." Read more

"The gnocchi was $18 and tasted like the shrink wrapped ones from Trader Joe's. Too rubbery, not made with enough potato. For $18, total rip off. Also the cheese was grated on top like the person knew nothing about Italian food - not very refined. I would not come here again. I should have read the reviews."

"Mediocre at best. Noodles are waaay too cooked and mushy. Also, they are extremely light on the sauce. Way downhill from the first Italian homemade experience I had in sf. Will not be going back"

"Very underwhelming pasta and piadina. The tagliatelle was too thin and was both overcooked and flavorless. It tasted like it wasn't boiled in salted water. The pesto was very forgettable. The piadina was supposed to have arugula but came with just the prosciutto and cheese. It was basically a very bland quesadilla. I would only come back to buy fresh tortell..." Read more

"I had high expectations based on Yelp reviews. Food was disappointing. Lasagna was like mush and under seasoned, reminiscent of Chef Boyardee. Gnocchi did not appear homemade and were unpalatable. Salads were OK. Panna cotta tasteless and ladyfingers in tiramisu were beyond soggy (I still ate them cause I was hungry after giving up on the pastas). "Flatb..." Read more

"Closed up at 8:25 although it says they're closed at 9, very unfortunate since we traveled over an hour to get here. Loved it my first time here but every time I came after, quality and proportions went down by a lot. Last time I went here (last week), my food came out chilled right away. One of my favorite places but not anymore."

"Could have been better. Maybe it was homemade pasta, but when? Our food was sad. Please don't bother serving that cold tortilla you call flatbread."

"Very disappointed with this place. The wait for food took 45 minutes and the employees there look like they don't even want to be there. The pasta was very over cooked and the sauce was quite bland. The salad was full of balsamic vinegar and that was all I could taste. The music was also very loud in the restaurant."

"Just so so. The sauces lack flavor. We had a caprese salad and the tomatoes were tasteless, at the height of tomato season. They don't seem to prioritize quality. And they don't have wine or beer. Sorry, but eating pasta without a glass of red wine is nuts. The deli that was there before sold bottles of wine. Too bad they don't.Our party's food came out at..." Read more

"Honestly, I expected much more. The pasta wasn't super flavorful. Not even talking about complex flavors, it was more like it needed the basics: salt, garlic and more. Too expensive for what it was (not that much food either)."

"Ok, what am I missing?? I don't get why this place gets such high marks.I hear (and hope) the location in SF is way better. We ordered takeout and the food was not good at all. I felt like Ray Liotta in Good Fella's describing the Italian food he ordered in witness protection: "Today, I ordered spaghetti and marinara sauce, and I got egg noodles..." Read more

"What in the world is "pink sauce"??? The gluten free options for delivery are the most confusing ever. Where in the past they included specific descriptions like Bolognese and such, now they give limited and vague options of "pink sauce". What is it exactly???"
