"I don't understand why this place is getting 4-5 stars. We as a family visited this place and ordered chicken Shawarma plat, lamb kofta, gyro and chicken shish kabob. I had a hummus side and some salad. All tasted real bad. Lamb kofta was sugary. Chicken did have funny taste, it was blant. Gyro is the same gyro which is pre-made.. Owner was rude and did not..." "My buddy and I are here on Friday. Don't get to Montrose as much as I like but love this place and it never disappoints. He had the chicken. I had the lamb. Hummas and salads were amazing. Lebanese tea was on point as usual."

"Delicious Mediterranean food!! If you can get past finding parking and an awkward location then you're good to go! It's on a crowded corner/intersection in Montrose and doesn't have a designated parking lot. There is parking behind that customers of The Burger Joint also use, and then random small parking lots in the general area and you just walk a little b..." Read more

"LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Although I do not come here very often anymore (used to come at least 2-3 times a month), I can confidently say that this is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants that I prefer to eat at. Service is great and I love that it is BYOB. Definitely in need to go eat there again!"

"This place is awesome, came to visit some friends and they invited us out to eat here at Aladdins. The portions are so big and so delicious, so excited to go back, we love trying new places when we are in town."

"Cafeteria style ordering, get in line and pick your grub. Food wasn't bad good quality for the price. Ordered the chicken with saffron rice - good, tabouleh - adequate , grape leaves with rice - interesting flavor, regular hummus - good, pita bread - a little too fluffy but good flavor. Would definitely eat here again if in the neighborhood."

"Came here at around 930ish parking is very limited right behind the restaurant if u drive a little bit down there is additional parking specifically for Alladins. Once in you have to take a huge step up lol I felt like I was in a different country not the usual entrance. The staff that served us was very patient she Le us taste the meat before getting it. "Aladdin's is amazing...always tasty and great quality with ample veg options. Aladdin's has prepared food on display (so it's a great place to go for fast food when you're hungry!), and the staff plates it for you (with very generous portions). They have cold salads and warm options, and wonderful fresh squeezed juice blends. My favorites are the cold lentil..." Read more

"I loved my experience at Aladdin. Echoing a lot of the other reviews here, the food is truly the star. I'm from the Middle East, and was very impressed with not only the favors of the food, but also the offerings - there were menu items here that my grandmother used to make! I got the Lamb Meatballs with tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves, hummus and the vermic..." Read more

"This place is pretty much a Mediterranean chipotle. Both in style and flavors. I would have given this place a 4 but it was just a little too dirty for me. The most common orders are the combo entries. You get 2 pitas, and get to choose your meat and 2 or 3 entries. The portion sizes are pretty big so you can definitely share. I had the chicken kebob, lemo..." Read more

"One of the best mediterranean food I've had yet! Amazing kebabs, delicious spicy hummus and mouth-meltingly freshly baked pita bread. And super cheap - just $13.99!!!"

"I ordered baba ganoush, which was unbelievably yummy. Their falafels are the tastiest ones I've even tried in Houston. I would consider this restaurant as a catering service if I was a corporate owner! Awesome!"

"Some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in the states! Amazing hummus and bread. I had the lamb kebab which was very tasty. Only downsides are that the place is kind of expensive for the ambiance (no table service) and does not serve alcohol."

"This was the first Mediterranean restaurant I visited when I moved to Houston. I absolutely love it. The food is always fresh and delicious. Customer service is also great. Make sure to order the "covered potatoes" (my personal favorite!) Highly recommended!"

"I freaking love places like this - the buffet/cafeteria style Mediterranean place that offers a TON of food at a reasonable price. Aladdin is pretty similar to its competitors, except for... It's pita bread. Wow, was I impressed by the pita bread! Soft and fluffy with just a hint of sweetness, this was the first time I visited a restaurant like this where I..." Read more

"We came here for a lot of delicious Mediterranean food for cheap and that's exactly what we got. The portions are huge and I couldn't finish all of my food. This is a great place for all types of eaters - meat, vegetarian, etc. so many options! Cafeteria style, very casual"

"This is cafeteria style Mediterranean food, and it is really good! I wish they had labels on everything. I feel bad holding up the line to ask what everything is so I can make an informed decision. Also the line has lots of side dishes but you can only get 3 (For the usual combo of one meat - 3 sides, anyway). So take your time and look to see what they have..." Read more

"The times that I have gone I have gotten the three vegetables and one meat plate. It is a buffet line so the first thing you do is get your tray, napkins, and silverware. Then you get 2 pieces of pita and they start loading up your plate. The sides go down the line with hummus options first, then cold sides, then hot sides and you pick three of all those for..." "Aladdin consistently delivers delicious food. Most meal choices come with one entree and three sides, and while all of the sides are awesome, the eggplant stew served over rice is the star of the show. Furthermore, after a self-led baklava tour of Houston, I boldly state that Aladdin has the best baklava in the city. The enormous portions here will delight a..." Read more

"I was very impressed! In general, I really like this cuisine, but tend to think it needs sauce to be truly enjoyable. Not Aladdin! Everything was so flavorful and the meat wasn't dry at all! You order cafeteria style and get to choose your mix of items. Portions are HUGE and there are tons of vegetarian options. I was still full the next morning and my fridg..." Read more

"I LOVE this place! The food is so authentic (Lebanese) and I love how you can see everything and choose your options. Two of my favorite things is the grilled cauliflower and the "shish tawook" (chicken) with the garlic sauce. Everyone who works here is so nice and the service is really quick."

"Not a fan! We ordered in for lunch. I got a Kafta kabob which was the saving grace for me to give 2 stars along with the spicy hummas. The rice pilaf is very bland and the chicken kabob was dry and tasteless. The garlic dip was a waste of money. If you want good Persian/Mediterranean food go to Kasra on Westhiemer and Gessner"

"It was my first Mediterranean restaurant I visited after coming to states. After then I have visited 3 times. "Love this place! The food is fresh, healthy, and tastes amazing. The flavors are great, and I have never been disappointed with any of the salads or meat that I have eaten there.
