"I have been here with coworkers and my father and was always able to find something tasty and vegetarian. When I first brought my dad here he was so happy he didn't know what to do with himself. I brought my bf here a few months later after he had been living in the butthole of Louisiana for two months and he was so happy he almost cried (seriously, he was v..." Read more

"Love love this place!!! The food is amazing and so are the prices. Always a go to. My one complaint (which is small) is there are no signs by the food telling you what it is. The people are really nice to tell you what it is just sometimes when it's busy it can get a bit stressful."

"You can't drive on Montrose and miss this great restaurant at the Corner of Montrose and Westheimer! Walk in right off the street via the front patio. 10 times out of 9 the Owner greets you with a big huge smile, like he knows you from birth. He's a big jolly guy with a beard and a ponytail...30ish, but a sharp and serious contender type, cradle-to-the-gr..." Read more

"Not a Good place to go eat Cafeteria Style food. Gyro was very dry. Shawarma very bland. Sides were the only thing can be eaten. There are other Meditterean places around that are much better and meat tastes better. NO To aladdin."

"Look for those who don't know me I'm a foodie! I will try anything once! Aladdin is by far one of Houston's best places to eat. The service is beyond wonderful. Have you ever gone out to relax and enjoy a good meal only to end up not having a good time because of the staff? You won't at this place. The food is da bomb people! Go go go!"

"I've been coming here for a long time..6+ years. Everything is pretty good, though you'll probably get selection envy when someone else outpicks you in their choice of 2 or 3 sides. another plus, You can ask the pita guy for more pitas to mop up whatever hummus/meat juice residues are left on you plate. I dunno why anyone would bother going to Niko Niko's"

"Great food and very helpful friendly employees. This was my first visit and I can't wait to go back. The food was excellent and and a very large serving for the money. The bread and hummus were delicious. The best I've ever had!"

"Oh Aladdin, I really wanted to like you from all the raving yelp reviews, but...you just don't cut it for me. My boyfriend and I have been here twice, and the first time was pretty much a disaster. It was his first time at a Mediterranean restaurant, and we weren't sure what to order, so we hesitated a bit at the counter. Instead of recommending sides and ex..." Read more

"First time visitors should ask the servers to explain how the cafeteria-style ordering works. The choices of hummus, sides and meats laid out in front of you are daunting. By the way, the spicy hummus is amazing -- much better than Sabra. The portions are generous so be careful that you do not order more than you can eat. Also, the lamb kebob is delicious..." "I had high expectations after hearing friends talk about how amazing this place was. First of all, parking is a hassle...very few spots. Second, ordering is so confusing! The menu presented seems incomplete (doesn't tell you what sides you get or how many). Once you start going down the amazing and delicious-looking buffet-like line, I of course want to say..." "The problem with hanging out with guy-friends is that they are ALWAYS hungry. Seriously, they reserve a time for second dinner every evening, which is when I made my journey to Aladdin Mediterranean Cuisine. Being sleight of frame, my metabolism does not allow for second dinners, so I was not particularly hungry when I entered the establishment. Ordering is..." Read more

"This is easily one of my favorite restaurants. The hummus is the best I've ever tasted, especially the spicy hummus. I'm a huge meat eater, but I could go vegetarian at a place like this. The sides are so delicious, and I hardly ever make it past the cold dishes and salads, they are that good. The eggplant salad is da bomb! Yeah, I pulled that straight out o..." Read more

"FRESH, HEALTHY AND BOUNCING WITH FLAVOR! Wonder where the chefs from Uchis and other restaurants along Westheimer are eating? Its here. The food is fresh and tastes fantastic. There is a dizzying amount of choice and dont get me started on their clay oven breads. I am gluten free these days but usually break down when faced with these beauties. You grab a..." Read more

"EDIT: I now firmly stand with my opinon that alladdins has the best Mediterranean food inside the loop. Hands down. THE BEST!!! I have been frequenting this place for quite sometime now.. I cant believe I haven't reviewed! I really love Aladdin's. Talk about great portions for a great price! My usual would be the 4 veggie plate... Taboulli salad, Baba Ganou..." Read more

"This is my FAVORITE restaurant in Houston. The homemade hummus is to die for (don't buy that shit from the grocery store- you can get it here to-go. I recommend the spicy variety.) The shwarma is the best I've had outside of the actual Middle East. I call their potatoes "crack potatoes" because you just can't stop eating them once you start. I also highly re..." Read more

"As with all of my reviews, the rating is for the food only. I went to Aladdin's today for lunch and had their lunch special. This includes one meat (or falafel) option, 3 sides and all the pita you can eat. The price of all this is a little over 10 bucks, which is kind of steep for lunch. On the flip side, there was enough food left over that this will..." Read more

"When it comes to food, this place rocks. The spicy hummus is all that!! and the bread is amazing. I have had the lamb gyro plate most of my visits here. One huge concern for me about Aladdin is FOOD SAFETY. The food sits out with almost no refrigeration. It sits on these squares they fill with ice but we watched them fill it up yesterday and the ice comes..." Read more

"Don't let anyone tell you any differently; Aladdin's is the best mediterranean in Houston. In a lot of these cafeteria style food places the sides, salads, and other offerings can be questionable. Aladdin's has been good to me. Their ultimate shwarma is absolutely amazing and made to order. It's big enough for two meals but don't share it! The sauces on it m..." Read more

"The lines are never long, the service is fast, the food is great, and it's not very expensive. What's not to like? Great lamb, hummus, and general variety. This is the place to go for Mediterranean cuisine. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, you can order using a "build a plate" option where you choose how many meats you want (which determines the pric..." Read more

"One of the reasons I chose to work in construction is my dislike of writing, however this place is so good it deserves my effort. First off, I must say I am a Mediterranean food fanatic. I've tried about every restaurant in Houston, but this place has always been my absolute favorite of them all. That's due to the fresh food, bold flavors, unique twists, and..." Read more

"Into Aladdin so far, but I definitely need to try more things here before bumping them up to four stars. My stomach wasn't feeling great that week, so I stuck to the classic hummus and a few falafels. The falafels are certainly the best I've had in town, but the hummus wasn't as good as Niko Niko's. The bread was crazy-amazing! I want to try their other humm..." Read more

"Bad news first. The reason I had to give 3 stars is solely to the fact the restaurant isn't handicapped accessible . No parking spaces , a lot of walking and slippery floors when wet . I worked pretty hard for my lunch ! The food , service , and prices were great ! The cafeteria style service was novel to me . the lady behind the counter jumped in and serv..." Read more
