"Awesome food and large portions! Had the lamb shank and three sides. Lamb shank was fall off the bone, and the cauliflower side was delicious. Also got an extra side of hummus that was a really large portion for only $6."

"This part of town doesn't have mediterranean food so I was eagerly waiting. However, i was disappointed because I got the impression the mediterranean flavors are not really preserved here. Too many flavored hummus, americanized spiced salads and veggies, too spicy entrees ( hot lamb meatballs or extremely spicy moussaka like dish), lacking basic Mediterrane..." Read more

"Favourite Mediterranean in Houston for eat in or takeaway. Love this counter serve cafe and have never gone wrong with a veggie plate, always with enough for two meals. The hummus selection is great - I love the caramelised onion and the tabbouleh and fattoush are excellent. Best thing here is the pita bread!"

"Literally the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. I was with a large party and it was hard to organize a spot and I felt guilty saving a table at a cafeteria style diner but we managed. The upside is I got to try almost everything they had to offer. My favorites were the falafel, beef skewers, domas, and spicy humus. I can't not wait to make this a regu..." Read more

"Came here after the museum, based on the reviews was expecting a decent middle eastern/mediterranean meal. I got the gyro meat plate with hummus, spinach salad and potatoes and my girlfriend got the chicken shawarma sandwich with hummus. They have a variety of different hummus flavors, we tried 4 (spinach, spicy, onion and baba ganoush) and really didn't lik..." Read more

"It was my first time here and I couldn't be more happy with my visit. Everything from the food to the service was so good. If you can imagine a cafeteria stlye service, how ever don't judge by food set up. Grab a tray, get your silverware and first station is the bread station. I grabbed some Lavash crackers and they also handed me my own personal basket..." Read more

"What an amazing restaurant. The food is wonderful. Great service and the waiters are really nice. Parking's alright there's two parking lots though where you can park so it's nice. 10/10 would eat at again probably gonna go tomorrow."

"I eat Mediterranean food once a week for aprox. 8 years since back in Houston....visited about 6 Mediterranean food locations. Aladdin on Westheimer for me has won the WORST MEDITERRANEAN IN HOUSTON. SO bad that all I need to say is go to any and all the rest...see for yourself. Don`t take my word for it....just try all the others. Food is not warm, WA..." Read more

"Aladdin is hands down, my favorite restaurant in Houston. We recently had them cater our wedding of around 120 guests, and they did an outstanding job! We had so many compliments about the food, and Ali and his staff were so nice and helpful the whole time. Would definitely recommend them for any event, or if you just want to sit down and have some great..." Read more

"I always delight in eating at this restaurant. The food is fresh and good. My taste buds flourish. In eating here recently, I had roasted chicken that was cooked with tasty seasonings along with fluffy white rice with added ingredients for flavor. Before getting to these choices I rushed to the counter to select spinach hummus and homemade bread cooked in a..." Read more

"Love this place! FYI - save your time and park in the lot just north of Burger Joint on Montrose. Good variety of food and you get large portions, but there are takeaway boxes available (we always need at least one). Watch out for some bones in the baked chicken, and try the kebabs!"

"Excellent food, I've had some decent Middle Eastern food but this is easily some of the higher quality, staff was extremely helpful as well. You purchase a platter with a choice of meat/falafel and sides, so you're given quite a few options. Would recommend."

"This place is definitely overrated and the food was just okay. I wasn't blown away by the food and I don't know how people say this is the best Mediterranean place in Houston. I got the chicken kabob when I went and the chicken was dried out and was really chewy. The staff also had a hard time explaining to me what the side dishes were when I was asking them..." Read more

"I've been here several times, but I'm just now getting around to giving it a review for some reason. I can't say enough good things about this place. Everything I've tried is delicious, and there's such a great variety to choose from! It's cafeteria style, and you can also order to go. You get one type of hummus (there are several to choose from), two veggie..." Read more

"Uh-MAZING food! We'd read good things but don't think either of us was prepared for how good this food is. Baked chicken was ridiculous as was the grilled corn on the cob, cucumber salad and spicy hummus. All the veggies were awesome. And the bread was fantastic. Great service and a very nicely run restaurant."

"I heard so much about this place and finally got a chance to try it. Actually was not impressed with the food. The spicy hummus was very sour. The chicken was very bland. I didn't taste much flavors in the dishes I got. The fish was the most decent choice."

"I've only found one spot (not this one) with amazing falafel but Aladdin's is fairly good too. I really enjoyed their fresh naan, hummus selection, and rice. Their fresh juices are really good too. Plenty of vegan options."

"Oh my! I LOVE this place! How I wish they have this in Arizona! I absolutely loved the food! Curry was perfect, corn has this amazing taste of spice, oh the bread was perfect & other food on the side. For Houston, the prize is great and affordable. "This was my first time trying Mediterranean food but this place wasn't it. Food was very plain and had little to no taste. My favorite thing had to be the bread but that was about it.
