"I LOVE this place. After having a terribly experience at Theo's next door, my friends and I walked over to Aladdin's. The staff is super nice and very patient. We aren't from the area and had never been here nor had their mediterranean food. I got a 3 sides 1 meat dish. I didn't know I was going to get pita bread with it. The bread is made fresh and..." "I think this place is great. Always fresh food and their lamb shanks are delicious. All their salads and entrees are well prepared and I love their freshly baked pita that's baked in a brick oven. Great food. Good prices. Great value."

"I love Mediterranean food and Aladdin is my favorite spot to have it. This cafeteria style restaurant is family owned and they are passionate about food and customer service. The employees are always extremely friendly and helpful. I am a big fan of the cafeteria style service because I can see all of my options and they will always give you a taste of som..." Read more

"Aladdin is my favorite restaurant in Houston for several reasons... 1. the roasted cauliflower. this stuff is addictive. i've never had cauliflower that tasted so good in my life. 2. all the vegetables are SUPER fresh. ali takes pride in having the highest quality ingredients and it shows. this is sometimes a problem, because they all look so good it can..." "This place is great. I knew from the get go (by the sticker on the window "people love us on Yelp") that this place was gonna be good. Upon entering the place is home-y feeling. My and my girlfriend were confused at what to get so we each got something different. She got the regular hummus and I got the spicy. The pita was fresh and delicious. As was the..." Read more

"I was excited to go to this place. Very similar to Fadi's where they have cafeteria style. Watch out for the amount of side dishes you get as the price incrementally goes up and the staff will try to get you to get the most expensive combo. The food itself was fine but a bit greasy for my tastes. I got the lamb shanks and rice with eggplant and a feta past..." Read more

"I've been on a gyro kick so decided to hit up Niko Niko again. But after circling the parking lot twice, I decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Just across the street was Aladdin and I was extremely glad I got to try this place. Prices are reasonable and portions were huge. 1 meat w/ 3 sides plus drink was $12.43 and well worth it. The place has a "mar..." Read more

"Saturday 05/14 Rode up here on our bikes and had a late late lunch on their patio around 6pm. Staff was extremely friendly. Setup is kinda like Fadi's--order first, pay, and they'll bring out the food. Meat w/ 2 sides-$9.49. Ground beef kebab w/ spaghetti and spinach salad Sandwich w/ 1 side-$7.99 Beef steak kebab w/ cashew rice and cranberries? Not sure...." Read more

"I stopped by for a quick dinner, and my friend and I have never had that kind of food before. Excellent service ! The staffs are all so nice and attentive !!!! :) And the pita bread is SO delicious. however, i don't think i am a fan of mediterranean food; i had the chicken kabob, it tasted decent. The price is very reasonable. $10 for a basket of free..." Read more

"Eh. That's all. Okay, I guess I should say more than that. Aladdin is perfectly adequate Mediterranean food. Hummus is decent. Baba ganoush is decent. Meat is for the most part okay, although from time to time a little more charred than I'd like. All-you-can-eat pita is hard to argue with. Lengthy service times for the kabobs is a little easier to ar..." Read more

"Having lived in New York, I am always searching for great Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in Houston and as of today, Aladdin's is at the top of my list. It's cafeteria style but don't let that fool you, the food and service are both excellent. And if you like spicy hummus, it's excellent here. For what it's worth, it's also BYOB."

"My first review - wow I feel like a real Yelper now! This is one of my favorite place for REAL mediterranean cuisine. They have everything you think of and more when you're craving mediterranean. The food is all homemade and authentic! Servings are good size and usually require a take out box. The owner is awesome and will let you try new things and spl..." Read more

"I've been driving pass this restaurant for so long and always thought it was some dinky place on the corner of Montrose and Westheimer, but when you go in, you get a sense of how clean and fresh the food and eating area is. You'll have trouble figuring out what you want to eat since there's so many good choices. They are experts are cooking the meats just ri..." Read more

"I've eaten from here about 10 times, and always get the same thing (lamb kabob with 2 sides) to go. Once, the meat was totally rotten and reeked so badly I was about to become vegetarian (about to). Recently, I made my absolute last visit. I got a baba ganoush side, which on one bite, tasted spoiled. It took just that one bite for me to have awful food poiso..." Read more

"of all the Mediterranean options in montrose, a winner emerges! I tried the falafel sandwich and it was very tasty. The falafel itself wasn't too dry, and the sandwich was complimented nicely with pickles and just the right amount lettuce/tomato. very tasty stuff!"

"This is a great restaurant, something for everyone. If you're vegetarian, have no fear, there is plenty to choose from. The pita bread is simply delicious and the selection is amazing. Parking is tight at times, but the restaurant shares space with LIttle Bigs next door. If I could only rate Aladdin on 1 item though, it would be the baklava. I wish I..." Read more

"I go to Aladdin a couple of times a month for lunch. I usually go with my mother who loves Mediterranean food. After I took her there awhile back she now refuses to eat anywhere else on our lunch dates. I usually go for their meat and 3 sides special for lunch. "When I spent more time in the Montrose, I would eat at Aladdin every other week. Last week was the first time I had been in about six months and everything was as good as I remember. "The food is always fresh and good. What else can I say? Some may think the food is pricy, but I usually can't eat all the food they give you so you get a lot for your money. For those on the prowl for other middle-eastern/greek food in the neighborhood, there is Niko Niko, but I prefer Aladdin every time."
