"Muqueca is an unassuming restaurant with dishes that are delicious! I always wanted to stop by, but happened to catch it on an episode of Neighborhood Kitchens, and made it a point to visit. And I was satisfied with the fish soup, the Mouqueca Completa and the house cocktail! All on point!"

"Of all of the places I have tried muqueca, this is the best by far. They also have great drinks, appetizers, and desserts. The service is always prompt and friendly. Parking is a little challenging at times, but there is a decent number of spots on a side street."

"Great food. Big servings. Yummy drinks at reasonable prices (caipirinha). We had a fish and shrimp moqueca (Bahia style - added coconut milk) that was really good and enough to share. Coconut shrimp appetizer had nice breading and tasty dipping sauce. Also had the feijoda, which has really tender pork and great fried sweet plantains."

"Everything I have tried here has been fantastic. From the Shrimp Bobo, to the Moqueca, you can't miss. Also, the juices are wonderful and pair well with the clay pot dishes. Don't forget to add a little of the home made hot sauce (in moderation!)"
