"We had our company holiday party here (a group of 30) so there were plenty of appetizers to go around as well as a 3 course meal. The restaurant had a great holiday display out front and was nice and spacious inside. The food overall was mediocre, nothing really stood out and I did expect more from a restaurant located at Pier 39. I do have to admit that it'..." Read more

"Good food, poor service...
We had the clam chowder, garlic bread, and fish & chips. All the food was great.
But we didn't see our waiter once after receiving our food. Had to finish our meal without anything to drink and then wait over 20 minutes for him to even bring our check."

"Not great not the worst, but just not very good. We came here for Father's Day thinking it would be a great place to get some good fish. But I would pass on this place. The fish was not very tasty at all. I had the Salmon and my wife had fish and chips. My son had a hamburger. Everything was just mediocre at best..."

"I was in the area for a business meeting and decided to grab lunch at Swiss Louis . The restaurant was empty in such a busy tourist destination place, Pier 39.Fried calamari appetizer was not ready when served , it was soggy, it definitely needed to be cooked longer .Salmon with veggie was just ok. Salmon was baked right , but the sauce on to..." Read more

"So I was really torn here. The ambience was AMAZING. All the charm of the most upscale restaurants I've ever been in, considering it is on the pier. Amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the sea lions and San Fransisco Bay. I really wish the food was better. If I had to give this place a 5 star, all the stars would go to our server, Chi. He was an older..." Read more

"I had really high hopes for this place, but it was pretty underwhelming. For pros, we got a table with a perfect view of the water and the sea lions, which was really nice! The garlic bread appetizer was good, as well as the fettuccine alfredo (unsure about it being worth 20$ a plate, though). Our waitress, Wendy, was extremely kind! We loved her. As for the..." "This place was alright. Like the 1980s with decor, service, and options. Not one vegan option other than a side salad. Chef and waiters had no idea what ingredients are in their food (sourdough bread? Pasta?) this place needs an update badly and we only ended up here because the other restaurants had long wait times. The view is unbeatable and could be so..." Read more

"Thumbs in the middle....A few notes...+ French bread was excellent- They charge you for it. Possibly the only restaurant that I've been to that does this.+ The clam chowder bread bowl was very good.- The amount of soup they put into it comes out to less than a cup.The fettuccine alfredo was pretty bland. The view was gr..." "Well well well. They totally deserve their 3 star rating. Everything is average at this restaurant. The only area they deserve a 4 star would be service. Food tastes like someone who knows the recipe but simply doesn't care. It's not bad but it isn't worth the price. The $22 fish filet tastes like something from a Safeway warmed up with some sauce. ..." Read more

"Came here for happy hour and the drink/food deal is decent. The cocktails were good and the food was just okay. It's a touristy destination so it makes sense the bar food was clearly the same food I can get in the frozen section but did the job."

"Staff was highly attentive & great service. Of course outdoor seating so expect a wait time. Food was good, however I wasn't a fan of baby fried octopus on my dish which wasn't mentioned in the description when making my food selection. Next time, I'll probably stick to a pasta dish or something I'm more familiar with."
