"We hadn't anticipated eating at Pier 39 this trip but the yummy garlic-y smells coming from Swiss Louis made us stop (plus we were insanely hungry). We got a seat right by a window (lucky!) because honestly the views were the BEST part of the restaurant. I wish we'd gone in a little earlier so we had longer day light to enjoy the scenery but what view we had..." Read more

"The salads has good flavor, but we didn't like having to cut it. I don't understand the logic behind serving a whole lettuce, also could use more bread crumbs :/ we wanted to eat inside but got seated outside without being asked on a slow day. Claim chowder tasted good (comes in a little cup but no crackers) the main course was clam and mussels with linguine..." Read more

"Price to quality to quantity ratio is off. It's pretty good food, but for the quantity the price is too high. Servers are very nice, but the service is just passable and we were left waiting between interactions on a not so busy day. Also not sure what's up with the uncut salad, not fancy, just annoying. Glad I tried it but it's not worth going back persona..." Read more

"Not my favorite place at Fisherman's Wharf. Service was a little slow, food was very mediocre didn't find anything to be super impressive. Inside there are some tables with a nice water view, but everything else is pretty casual and in my opinion could've been better. In comparison to other places nearby I think that it could definitely be improved. Drinks w..." Read more

"Decided to come here with friends from Switzerland after wondering around Pier 39 trying to figure out where we wanted to eat lunch. We got here at 11:00am just as they were opening for business. We definitely beat the lunch crowd. There were 4 in our party, we were seated quick & in a nice corner table by the window where we could view the se..." Read more

"On Pier 39, there are many choices and I like to stay away from chain restaurants and try the local restaurant. This place had nice ambiance and a great view of the bay. We started off with fried calamari and it was soggy and slightly salty. When I told the server it was soggy, he stated that they don't cook it crispy. I though fried food were supposed to be..." "Most of the reviews were correct. Service is pretty dismal along with mediocre food makes for a so so experience. Should've ordered calimari like suggested. Asked for my 2.00 BREAD 3 times came out freezing cold. Like it had been sitting around for a while. They didn't even bring butter with it. I was starving so I ate it. My lady had a clam chowder cup that..." Read more

"My sister and I came here for a late lunch recently after walking around Pier 39. We were told that the wait is about 30 minutes and we could hang out in the patio area or the bar. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays so we took photos with Santa and the reindeers. My sister ordered the spaghetti con frutta di mare and I ordered the Fisherman..." Read more

"From out of town here and the food was good and the service was also good. I would give it 4 stars but I thought it was a little pricey. I ordered chicken parm with penne pasta and it was $22 which back home is a $15-17 plate."

"Great view! Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Food was just okay. I had the margarita pizza which was fine (not great) but (as a Mainer) the New England clam chowder was terribly, too thick and lacked flavor."

"Average clam chowder bowl. Pretty good steamed clams. Service and ambiance was fair. Steak was a little bland. It was good when we were hungry. I am honestly not sure if we would go back. Pretty expensive for subpar food."

"On a busy Sunday we pushed our way to the back of the Pier and found lovely patio dining with great food and no wait. I had the crab enchiladas, which were flavorful without being too salty or too "Tex Mex". Pretty good service as well."

"Came here for happy hour and the drink/food deal is decent. The cocktails were good and the food was just okay. It's a touristy destination so it makes sense the bar food was clearly the same food I can get in the frozen section but did the job."
