"I love the concept of freshly made pasta plus your choice of sauce, but this place really fell short for me. I came in last night for dinner. They were packed, but I was still able to place my order pretty quickly. I ordered the pappardelle + pasticciata (bolognese with bechamel creme) and my s/o ordered the tagilatelle with meatballs. Since they make ever..." Read more

"Really wanted to like this place, but something unfortunately fell short. Many of my friends raved about this and it was quite popular so I was looking forward to it. Maybe I just got unlucky - I would give it another chance. FOOD:I opted for he pappardelle pasta with pesto. Quite affordable compared to many other Italian restaurants in the area..." Read more

"Came here for the first time on a date and we had a good time. My date got the gnocchi with pesto, and it tasted very good. The pesto sauce was very creamy and not oily. The gnocchi was very good, but a little too tender. I had the fettuccini with pesto which tasted great! Perfectly cooked and served at a nice temperature. Service was okay, the women taking..." "I most definitely would NOT recommend the gnocchi pesto. It was super bland imo. Idk if it was the gnocchi or the sauce, but I probably would have enjoyed it more with marinara sauce or bolognese. My father had the lasagna which was pretty good, but was kind of salty and my mom had bolognese which was also salty, but I kind of liked it due to the blandness o..." Read more

"I was so excited to visit here after my trip to Italy. Sadly it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the egg pasta with sausage, Parmesan and truffle and I'm still stunned to say it had no flavor. I could not taste the truffle at all, the sausage had no flavor, was grey and bland, the sauce was some kind of cream sauce also without flavor. I still don't know..." Read more

"I liked the food here. But it was super noisy and the vibe was too chaotic for me. You have to stalk tables to try to sit when it's busy. There's very little room to navigate around tables to get forks, napkins or all the other self service stuff. And worst of all....no wine. I barely understand what to do with  pasta without wine. That said, I'm going to tr..." Read more

"I got a calzone and the thing was cold in the middle. My uncle's was too. We were excited to eat here and then after we found out that the calzone's are pre-made. Didn't get a refund. The regular pasta is good though!"

"I am a big - make that a huge - fan of the original Italian Homemade Company on Columbus Street in San Francisco. I used to live around the corner and spent many evenings in this unassuming yet excellent restaurant. The lasagna was my favorite, with pasta that was pillowy soft that you could cut with a fork while being ridiculously delicious. All of the food..." Read more

"I've been here twice! First time was really good, but the second time was so-so.Ambience: super casual! Love the decor - very clean modern with a rustic feel. They have a lot of two person tables but it isn't too crowded.Food: I've gotten pastas the two times I've been and I think depending on the day, your pasta will either feel too oily and..." "I love the concept of Italian Homemade Co--freshly made pasta without the stuffy setting, hefty prices, or having to make the pasta myself. It was packed for a Sunday dinner so we decided to get takeout. It's located in a cute neighborhood with a bunch of other cute shops and restaurants. Street parking is limited but there is a small parking lot behind the..." Read more

"Meh +

Well-made pasta and gnocchi, good ratio of pasta to sauce, but very bland Bolognese. Might be worth trying their butter and sage or pesto, but I'll skip the tasteless tomatoes. Where's the zip?!"

"We had the basic bolognese with meatballs. Since I am definitely a person who wants some protein with their pasta it was my only choice for a big pasta meal. My friend was happy, but I didn't care for the sauce, too much of a porky flavor and unappealing spices, and the meatballs were more of the same. So I had gelato for dessert, and unfortunately most of t..." Read more
