"Good food, only problem is the quantity and quality can vary night to night. I've probably been here 30-40 times this past year.I love being a regular at a restaurant but it is a disappointment when half the time a dish has that pizzazz, and the other half of the time it is good but nothing great.Similarly, half the time the quantity is great..." "My 17 yo treated me to dinner here. Clearly the Burger Boi is branching out! This is a made to order pasta place. Very casual, great for families when mom or dad need a break. I had the Bolognese on ravioli and he had something equally tasty and added a meatball or two. Good price to value, we will be back!"

"Great location. A nice short walk from a friend's home around the corner. Not an expansive menu but still a good selection of food. You get a to see them make the pasta and the meatballs are delicious."

"After 4 years of always passing by on the 51B, I finally tried Italian Homemade! To order their pasta, you pick the type of pasta noodle you want and the type of sauce you want with it. I'm not the biggest fan of red sauce or ravioli, so I stayed away from that and got the fettuccine with salsa parmigiano, which I really enjoyed! The sauce was cheesy..." Read more

"Italians run the show here. Stopped to check it out and have a small bite to eat before dinner. Ordered fettucine as my noodles, bolognese with two meatballs as out entree to split, and some flatbread.I have to say, the place rocks. The freshly made pasta with the soft and very flavorful meatballs were outstanding. The bolognese sauce was full of..." Read more

"A pretty good Italian food spot in the Elmwood area. I eat here regularly ordering either the lasagna or a sandwich (but usually the lasagna). The lasagna is a good portion and tastes great. The sandwiches are alright, are pretty thin and not too filling. The cashiers and servers are friendly and ring you up quickly. The restaurant is also pretty big with pl..." Read more

"After work, my wife and I were craving pasta and stumbled onto this place. We were so impressed with the quality of food and service that within that week I brought my parents (who are notoriously picky eaters) and they loved it. My Mom said after noshing on a delicious plate of Pappardelle and Meatballs (my go-to pasta combination) that it reminded her of t..." Read more

"This is such a wonderful restaurant, inside and out. You can gawk from the sidewalk and watch the pasta being made right on the kitchen workbench. Thus far, my very favorite dish is the beet gnocchi. They look like little pink marshmallows and they taste like tangy, umami pasta paradise. Good specialty deli items for the discerning Italian (or any pe..." Read more

"I like it here because it's straightforward, relatively affordable, and good quality. There are many options to customize your dish, so you can certainly find something suitable to your tastes. If you've been to Toss on Shattuck, it's essentially an Italian version of the same concept, but there are additional dishes here that make the menu more extensive. M..." Read more

"I ordered to-go and got the PAPPARDELLE with PASTICCIATA.I will say that it probably would have been better if I ate it there, but I picked it up then got caught in traffic on the way home.I was still nice and VERY HOT when I got home but the noodles were a little mushier than I would have like and they were all clumped together. Maybe it's b..." Read more

"Down-to-earth, satisfying pasta. Not since Basta Pasta (Cambridge, MA) have I run into hearty, hand-made pasta with minimal pretension. Pasta options are rather simple - select one of the generally flat noodles (fettucine, tagliatelle, paparadelle) as well as a sauce treatment including butter+sage (free?) to bolognese with or without meatballs, etc..." "Simple concept. Choose your pasta and sauce and that's it. They also have flat bread, salad, and a few specials. Nothing fancy, just good hearty food. The pasta is made fresh onsite as are the sauces. The bolognese sauce with meatballs was very good. Lots of meaty flavor and not too runny. Very hearty. The lasagna was spot on with the flavor..." "Delicious! Fast! Casual! You order at the counter, but they serve the food and clear the tables. You order your pasta from their varieties and then choose your sauce. Prices are based on your order. Everything came out fairly quickly. Expect to pay about $11-$12 for a solid serving of freshly made pasta. I've been before and it has taken me a..." Read more

"The Italian Homemade what is that I wonder? Well I have never heard of this place but was invited to come, so I thought why not I like pasta. The restaurant is a little deceiving because it doesn't have a traditional look to it. It reminded me more of a market than a restaurant. With that said I'm glad I was invited because it was really good, everything fro..." Read more

"Delicious!!! My daughter got a simple fettuccine with, cream of parmigiana, and it was amazing! Nothing like fresh pasta! I just wish the flat bread was actually bread instead of a flour tortilla kind of a weird Mix with pasta, and the only choice of meat topping is meatballs. Which I personally do not like. The atmosphere is more a quick stop eatery nothin..." Read more

"I eat pasta about two times a year, so this was a big event. First time trying freshly made pasta too.Pappardelle with pesto: The pesto was interesting! Layers of flavors, fresh, flavorful, and kind of creamy and herbal. I can't speak for the pasta itself, since I'm not a pasta connoisseur, but it had a bite and there was a lot! I liked the fat pasta..." Read more

Very casual place. Just stroll in to pick up some pasta to go or eat there cafe-style. My go to order are the bolognese tagliatelle and pesto gnocchi."
