"With so many "Italian" restaurants all over the place, it's hard to tell when you're getting the real deal. When you walk in with an Italian-American friend and she starts chatting up just about everyone behind the counter in Italian though, I think that's a decent indication you may have just found some authentic Italian food. You walk in and order at the..." Read more

"While there are no "on the house" appetizers and they are stingy with their serving sizes, their pasta is INCREDIBLE. Fresh taste like no other! I do wish that their dry flat bread (that you pay extra for separately) at least came with a sauce and there were more drinks (alcohol would be nice)!"

"This pasta is super authentic. Granted, I don't totally know what authentic pasta tastes like, but it just seems authentic, ok? You can watch them making the pasta right in front of you, and it's cooked perfectly al dente. Very thick substantial pasta that will leave you quite satisfied.Crap, I forget what I got. Oh well, I attached a picture. It was..." Read more

"Got the meat lasagne and a passionfruit gelato. The lasagne had an inexplicable homemade flavor and feel to it, and you could tell the ingredients they used were top-notch. It was also cooked just enough to have the perfect texture with a little bit of chewiness. However, I personally found the lasagne to be too carb-y; every bite was mainly the many,..." Read more

"Co-worker suggested this place. Told us to try their meatballs and it didn't disappoint. 2 huge meatballs with a choice of pasta (large portion) for only $14. The only thing with our meatballs is they are not cooked evenly. Some of the meatballs were burned and toasty. But despite of that we still enjoyed our dinner. A plus because they do deliver via Caviar..." Read more

"They aren't lying when they say homemade, you walk into the shop and you can see the pasta being made. The menu is simple. They have house specials, some baked dishes, flat breads, and of course their pasta. I enjoy the ease of ordering to, pick the kind of pasta you want and then the sauce and that's it. On this stop, I ordered the ravioli with the butter a..." Read more

"This place deserves a 4.5 star but not 5 so hence I thought it would be better to put 4 stars here. This place has become an official stop when I visit Berkeley. The pasta here is always al dente (and i've been 3 times now so I feel like I can almost say that it's consistent). I'm not the biggest pasta fan because i feel like i'm just putting..." Read more

"I had the veggie lasagna. The sauce was amazing - only 1 veggie that was a little undercooked but otherwise delish! Bathroom was in the kitchen area so when I was waiting in line to use the bathroom I was staring at the staff cooking and bustling around. "I had a really high expectations for this place, but it was mostly mediocre. As a vegetarian I got the pappardelle with pesto. As others have said, the noodles are a little bit too al dente, and the pesto was overly oily and pretty bland. I used so many pepper flakes! The portions here don't justify the prices either. It was a unique spot to try, with a nice..." Read more

"tldr; takes pasta up a notch! This place was poppin the second that it opened a couple months ago! From all the reviews, I knew I had to try the pappardelle with bolognese sauce and meatballs. You can tell that the pasta is handmade and high quality - it was perfectly al dente, and picked up the perfect amount of bolognese sauce. I got my pasta..." Read more

"Being a fan of the original Italian Homemade Co. in North Beach, I was so excited when I found out they were taking over the old A.G. Ferrari space on College. The largest of their locations with more seating and food served on real plates vs. paper ones without trekking over the bridge makes this one a winner. Same format as their other locations,..."
