"Oh my...where to begin? Wonderful place. Very unassuming from the outside, Urban Steam is a neat coffee shop and eatery. I was expecting it to be downtown, but it's kind of in a neighborhood and industrial park setting. There's limited parking and it seems to stay busy.I ordered an affogato and the Fellini from the brunch menu. The ordering process c..." Read more

"My first visit to Urban Steam was on a Sunday morning and it was a packed place! We got our coffee fairly quick, and it was tasty. Enough so that we ordered a coffee to go on our way out. My only complaint is that my partner and I had ordered breakfast and were forgotten about for close to an hour. Many others who had come in long after us had alread..." Read more

"I've only been on Wednesday nights during trivia. They offer $6 whiskey sour drinks all day and they are great. On one occasion they were incredibly packed and I waited for 20 minutes without anybody taking a drink order. I went up to the bartender and was told to go sit down and a staff member would take my order. I left. I've been around six times and this..." Read more

"The manager was a dick when we asked if one of his dressings was vegan and they don't have soy but,,, Food was pretty good. I had the eggs and toast. Eggs and toast were great but lacked if you didn't want bacon or sausage. Maybe a veggie option would be nice as an option for non meat eaters? My gf had, the Toast and Avocado dish. It was good and a "satis..." Read more

""Espresso, Waffles, Whiskey, Good times" that's their motto and they seem to stand by it!  They are located off the beaten trail in a seemingly residential and industrial spot - probably the inspiration for the name Urban Steam - but well worth finding.I had the "Fellini" - focaccia with basil pesto, three eggs, arugula, Italian chees..." "Pleasantly surprised on our second breakfast outing in Colorado Springs. Amazing breakfast options that were cooked perfectly and served hot. Quality was very high - no concerns there. Coffee is second to none - they really have a passion for making you exactly what you need. To them, coffee is not a routine breakfast beverage, which I really appreciate as t..." Read more

"I love this place. It's great in the mornings and lunch for some of the best waffle you've ever had. Then in the evenings it's a relaxed feel and I love to bring my friends here to hang out. The employees are hilarious and the coffee is amazing. I would highly recommend this place for anytime of the day!"

"I was in town for work and always look for local places to eat in.  I was here for breakfast and had a great latte and avocado toast while eating outside looking at the mountains.  Not on the beaten path, but quite a few folks around with their computers working. I'd go again when I'm back in town.  Friendly and welcoming staff."

"I love what they're doing - wish they had more drinks for non-whiskey drinkers and the service is often slow.  But when you're casually hanging out, it's not so bad!"

"Definitely hipster ish but less douchey.  The aesthetic is modern industrial which I like and it doesn't feel like one of the ticky tack soccer mom suburban places which is refreshing.  This is more of a hipster/ artsy, more than likely eco/globally/socially conscious our beans are only ethically taken from coffee country producing places.   Pricing..." "Very good place to chill. Not a"tourist" type spot, but it was crowded with the locals. The atomphere is a welcoming with a touch of  hipster vibe. The service was good and the food was two thumbs up. I really enjoyed the all natural smoothies and bottomless mimosas to go along with my monkey waffles!"
