"Love this place! Fantastic coffee, great food. Just takes a long time to get it. So don't be in a rush if you check them out (which you definitely should)."

"I stopped by a few weeks ago and I have to say they are one of the best coffee places in the Springs. To me they rank right up with Colorado Coffee Merchants and Serrano's. The only thing I don't like is the location, I actually lived a few blocks north of this place on Sahwatch and it isn't the most ideal location at all imo. Just one thing if you are exp..." Read more

"Delicious! Unique beans, extremely friendly and professional staff. I have had a positive experience every time at Urban Steam. In addition to their boutique coffees, their food is also delicious - especially the waffles. Nice, serene location off the beaten path. They just expanded the inside of their shop to offer more seating. Can't recommend enou..." Read more

"Hands down, the best coffee there is to be had in Colorado Springs, dare I even say the Front Range. My personal favorite is their Cubano prepared with butter and salt (you're welcome). Their food menu is excellent. I've never been disappointed by any of their soup du jours, and make it a point to come if they're serving their green chili and pork s..." Read more

"Visiting family in the area, came in to support local coffee business. Funny - when I first came in and asked about getting coffee ground, you could see the hair stand up on the back of the guy's neck and he told me he's morally against selling ground beans (okay - maybe that's stretching it, but you know). Once I explained that I didn't have access to a g..." Read more

"I have never been able to drink an americano straight without a little splash of cream and sweetener. That is until I came here! The americano was so smooth and nutty! Not bitter with any unpleasant aftertaste. Best coffee I've had in 20 years!!! Way to go Urabn Steam!"

"Their sandwiches are the best on the west side. However, I do tend to be hungry soon. The Meltdown is the bees knees."

"New to the area and I have tried a couple of coffee shops but nothing compared to Urban Steam. I had a cup of coffee with freshly ground beans and hand poured. The customer service was great and they didn't mind me hanging out and using their wifi for a few hours. I am looking forward to going back to try their waffles."

"Update: After several additional visits, I'll say the coffee at Urban Steam is exceptional. Had a latte today - enjoyed every bit of the rich espresso and perfectly foamed milk (nice art, too)! Superb attention to nuance and a delicious flavor. Wish this place was on my regular route dropping kids off at school and then onto work...as it is I can only get he..." Read more

"The guys as Urban Steam know their coffee and it comes out in each handcrafted poured over cup. They try to stock beans from all over the world, including a very rare bean from India. Their food isn't bad but main reason you stop in is for the high-quality cup-o-joe."

"I happened upon this spot simply on google maps and was not disappointed when i stopped in for coffee and breakfast. As a barista, I very much appreciate their variety of house roasted coffee, and the fact that they only offer pourover instead of automatic drip coffee. It is small and comfortable, the coffee is great (I had Burundi; awesome), and the food w..." Read more
