"I came here when it first opened, probably the first day or two of business, and it was delicious. I came back about a week ago to see if it had changed over the year and it was just as good as before, if not better. This place will always have my business - hands down the best Italian food in Berkeley. I highly recommend the lasagna. Fair prices, great qual..." Read more

"On the pricey end, but I do think their pasta is good! I love getting their meat sauce. Their gnocchis are good but too little to fill a hungry stomach compared to the pastas. I wish their portions for gnocchis were larger. I've tried their pesto and it was just ordinary."

"This place is very cute! It's one of those restaurant/meat market/gelato shops. Everything is made fresh and you can taste it. Right when you walk in you can see them make the noodles which is super cool! The cashier was super friendly and recommended what sauce to get for the noodles I selected. Unfortunately they were out of the tortellini which lo..." Read more

"Nope. Had the tagliatelle with pasticciata sauce. The pasta was very doughy and was not even al dente, wasn't sure if undercooked because it had that raw pasta dough taste. Sauce wasn't very good, mostly tangy, no depth."

"Perfect location for an afternoon plate of fresh pasta, or a board of delicious cheeses and delectable sliced meats. I will definitely be returning for the raviolis and meat sauce. While not quite to Little Italy in Boston standards it was a great west coast version of delicious Italian foods."

"Came here with a friend with very little knowledge of the place beforehand and I am super happy we decided to go in on a whim! I got their veggie ravioli with the pesto while my friend got the tagliatelle with salsa parmagiano and both were amazing ... The sauces are a bit heavy, but we both appreciated how the pasta was cooked (aka v al dente). It d..." Read more

"I am a big - make that a huge - fan of the original Italian Homemade Company on Columbus Street in San Francisco. I used to live around the corner and spent many evenings in this unassuming yet excellent restaurant. The lasagna was my favorite, with pasta that was pillowy soft that you could cut with a fork while being ridiculously delicious. All of the food..." Read more

"I got the fettuccine with meat balls. The pasta was very fresh but it was a little bit too thick for my liking. The sauce was a little bit bland. I added lots of parmesan cheese to it and it tasted better. I also got the flat bread. It paired well with the pasta. Prices were kind of high. If you want meat in your pasta it's extra."

"Love the freshly homemade noodles here! Service is fantastic (I came here with two other friends while there was still a cute and charming cashier guy at the counter where you order your food) and the rest of the staff in general is very friendly and nice. One of the friends I went with actually came back here 6 months later, and the cashier still remembered..." Read more

"1st time here. Feels somewhat like a NYC Italian restaurant that specializes in homemade. Fun watching the staff making homemade pasta. Meatballs were huge and pasta portions were sizable. Very impressive overall, me and my honey enjoyed snuggling and eating our selections at home binge watching ."

"Al dente al dente!! I'm already planning my next trip back for my next pasta combination choice. It's counter service style and you can choose your own pasta and sauce (each with differing prices). I opted for the pappardelle pasta with pesto sauce and it was absolutely delicious. The pappardelle texture and density in particular was a highlight for me. When..." Read more

"This place makes fresh pasta in-house that is delicious! You can chose which kind of pasta/ gnocchi/ or ravioli you want with a sauce. They also make sandwiches which we did not try. You order in the front. The service was a bit slow to bus tables. Though, the pasta was delicious. We really enjoyed the spinach and cheese ravioli with pesto sauce the most! We..." Read more

It was my second time coming here and was just as good as I remembered, and hit all the right spots. We left feeling very full and satisfied. "I've been here twice! First time was really good, but the second time was so-so.Ambience: super casual! Love the decor - very clean modern with a rustic feel. They have a lot of two person tables but it isn't too crowded.Food: I've gotten pastas the two times I've been and I think depending on the day, your pasta will either feel too oily and..." Read more

"The name says it all! Homemade pasta..! for affordable prices! Never pay $20 for handmade pasta at a restaurant again. Their prices cater towards college students, like me! It's a long walk from campus, but you can take the bus-funny story, I was 3 minutes early to the bus stop and it had already come by, so I did end up walking. The prices are based..." Read more

"Homemade pasta is always great. The place is cozy and people are friendly.
The sauce is on the saltier side, but the pasta is so good, and it's in a huge portion with lots of meat. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!"

"5/5. Great pasta and service and the people really know how to pronounce Italian words. I got tagliatelle with béchamel sauce and also tried my friend Grace's tortellini with Parmesan sauce both were so good! My friend Gilf is gluten free and they had two options for gluten free pasta! The portions were giant so it was really like two meals. Grace also got g..." Read more

"The ambience is quite hipster as seen by the mason jar cups and the mismatched chairs, giving off eclectic vibes. The pasta freshly made which makes it have a soft feel you don't get from premade noodles. I got the tagliatelle with meatballs and bolognese sauce and the sauce was very chunky and savory and pair well with the noodles that have an al dente text..." Read more

"I just ordered from caviar and the gnocchi in meat sauce arrived w the gnocchi mushy and the meat sauce just one level away from being too salty to even eat. Hmmmm. Not ordering from this place again and no need to eat at the restaurant either. Belotti Bottega is so much better."

"This place is adorable. It isn't high class or fancy, and there's rap bumping in the background, but the food is delicious. Like its predecessor before it, you can get Italian groceries and goods from the shelves and refrigerators. The restaurant has an order-at-the counter-and-take-a-number model. You can mix and match various types of pastas and sauces, wh..." Read more

"The food pictures look great on Yelp...but it just didn't meet my expectations when I tried it. I'm a huge pasta fan, so I expected this to blow my mind. Although it did taste fresh and handmade, it might have been the sauce or inside of the meat ravioli that tasted off. It's also cool that you can pick your type of pasta and your own type of sauce. That way..." Read more

"Choose your own pasta adventure. I had the papparadelle with pasticciata sauce, a bolognese sauce with bechamel cream. Good portion size with fresh made pasta cooked with a bit of bite. The pasticciata sauce was creamy and flavorful. Cute vibes off College Avenue in Elmwood. Will have to try their flatbreads next time."
