"I don't think this place needs my good review because the delicious pasta is doing the job. The different options they offer to customize your pasta and sauce are such a nice touch. My favorite is the Bolognese with tagliatelle pasta. Can't have enough of it. We have visited this business in Berkeley and SF with friends and family and everyone loves it. It..." Read more

"Fabulous atmosphere, incredibly fresh food... good looking staff... but back to the food. Bolognese was to die for and I crave it way too often."

"Co-worker suggested this place. Told us to try their meatballs and it didn't disappoint. 2 huge meatballs with a choice of pasta (large portion) for only $14. The only thing with our meatballs is they are not cooked evenly. Some of the meatballs were burned and toasty. But despite of that we still enjoyed our dinner. A plus because they do deliver via Caviar..." Read more

"Best Italian food I've ever had. The pasta is has a pleasantly light flavor with a toothsome texture- just the right thickness and cooked to perfection. The bolognese sauce is amazing- so simple, but so satisfying. As a friend said, "This is one of the few meals where each bite is better than the last." By the time you finish, all you want to do is s..." Read more

"I thought this was a sit down restaurant where waiters take your order. It is not. It's more of a deli. You order at the counter, get a drink from the cooler and then sit down. I had ravioli which was excellent. Daughter had a vegetable lasagna. Zucchini and peppers were too overwhelming, couldn't taste anything else. Husband had a meat lasagna, it was awf..." Read more

"This place is very quaint and pretty much self service (utensils, napkins, water). I had passed by this place a few times and it was always packed. We came on Friday a little before 7, and thankfully there was no line. We received our food pretty quickly, and as soon as our food arrived, the line became 10-15 people long and went out the door.I order..." Read more

"They aren't lying when they say homemade, you walk into the shop and you can see the pasta being made. The menu is simple. They have house specials, some baked dishes, flat breads, and of course their pasta. I enjoy the ease of ordering to, pick the kind of pasta you want and then the sauce and that's it. On this stop, I ordered the ravioli with the butter a..." Read more

"Very sweet atmosphere and employees. On my visits, the other visitors are equally sweet from the young families to the young people. Watching the pasta being made adds to the delicious experiences I've had here."

"This place deserves a 4.5 star but not 5 so hence I thought it would be better to put 4 stars here. This place has become an official stop when I visit Berkeley. The pasta here is always al dente (and i've been 3 times now so I feel like I can almost say that it's consistent). I'm not the biggest pasta fan because i feel like i'm just putting..." Read more

"Omg this place is so good. It's way cheaper than Berlotti and you can get it delivered. The Bolognese is my go to and so is the meat lasagna. Portions are large and the staff are really nice in explaining the specials."

"Hubs had been looking for a "build your own pasta" place since visiting Chelsea market in NYC a few months ago, and this place did not disappoint! Parking was easier than usual on a weekday afternoon (metered; but usually there is nothing in this area). "I had the veggie lasagna. The sauce was amazing - only 1 veggie that was a little undercooked but otherwise delish! Bathroom was in the kitchen area so when I was waiting in line to use the bathroom I was staring at the staff cooking and bustling around. The chairs were u comfortable but I have a big bottom and that place is visited by mostly college kids wi..." Read more

"One of my favorite restaurants in Berkeley because the pasta really does taste homemade! I've had the gnocchi, parpadelle, and gnocchi rolls. They were all very good and I've even had the chance to eat the gelato! They servers there are very friendly and many of them speak Italian! Love this place!"
