"This is a hidden gem. Consistently delicious over 10 years +. Service is great Drinks are super tasty and fun What makes this place special is it's seafood stews or Muqueca. A must try. Large portion of fresh seafood. Shrimp mussels fish or and calamari. Make their own hot sauce which is hot and great. Also great w kids"

"Muqueca Is my favorite restaurant in Inman Square. I love their muqueca - slow cooked seafood stews in clay pots. It was satisfying looking at the sizzling pot and the taste of the seafood and fish sauce was fantastic. The service was good and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended."

"My favorite restaurant! Delicious food. As a Brazilian I say the food is authentic. There is no way to go wrong. The Mariscada is sooooo delicious!"

"This place is great for big group dinners, but make sure to call and make a reservation. My two favorite dishes are the seafood rice casserole and the plantain and tofu moqueca. The vegetarian moqueca may sound off putting but I would argue that it's more flavorful that the seafood moquecas. I also love the rice that come with the stew! My only gripe is that..." Read more

"Had my first muqueca this week. Seafood soupy, tomato, herby, goodness. With rice! Holy damn, this is some good stuff. Highly recommend for a fancy night out with friends or date night. They also do lunch (which is cheaper)."

"I had high expectations of this place and it left me disappointed. The caipirinhas were a bit on the sweet side, but still delicious nonetheless. The food was honestly a bit lackluster - it wasn't particularly memorable. Salt was needed in multiple parts on my dish, from the fried fish to the potatoes. My friends had similar comments for their dishes. ..." Read more

"Muqueca is a fave in Cambridge without a doubt! Their signature stews named muquecas are delicious and the generous portion is perfect for sharing. An ideal meal with friends at muqueca involves one or two orders of the stew (served with rice and a dish sauce), side orders of the beans and plantains, a lasaรฑa de banana for the table to share and tropical jui..."
