"Muequeca gets two stars for being a unique restaurant that has a fun vibe and atmosphere. The food was okay - the yucca flour you get to put on the top of your dish, though, gets a 10/10 five stars plus fireworks. Amazing. The service was the worst. I went here when there were maybe two other tables, and we had three different waiters, had to constantl..." Read more

"The muqueca completa is delicious! For 2 people, ask for a 1.5 portion. More than enough food to share."

"My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a while now, and it's always been a great comfort food go-to. This place was first introduced to me by a Brazilian uber driver who mentioned this along with Fogo de Chau as the best Brazilian food places in Boston. Did not disappoint. We usually get fried yucca (you can't not order it), a seafood casserole..." Read more

"Great service on a Friday night with no reservation needed. The food was quick to the table and great. I thoroughly enjoyed my beef braised gnocchi and an apple a day cocktail. Great place to watch a game as well. It's a little loud if you don't want to watch a game."

"I have come many times, whether with colleagues or alone, to enjoy their authentic Brazilian fare. Definitely a favorite for Brazilians-I always hear Portuguese in the clientele. The service is friendly and the restaurant small and comfy. Not fine dining, but the food does not disappoint. I head there often on my trips to Cambridge, it's like a brief sto..." Read more

"We had just seen a movie and had heard about this place, so we decided to stop by. Arrived at 9:30pm. The sign and website says they close at 10:30pm. I saw the waitresses sweeping inside and knocked on the window to ask why they were closing so early. I pointed to the hours displayed. The lady refused to open the door to explain and just kept making a hand..." Read more

"We ordered two meals and decided to share .. The banana lasagna and vegetable stroganoff .. We enjoyed the banana lasagna very much but the stroganoff was not up to par ... The menu had no mention of tofu (if it had I would not have ordered the dish) and the only vegetables were mushrooms. I am glad I tried this place but would not recommend."

"This is a regular spot for my family. The kids menu is generous, and the kids always get the steak or fried fish. Beer and wine is cheap.. My husband sticks to the feijoada which is a traditional pork dish with black beans and sometimes varieties of meats with collard greens and plantains on the side. I always get the shrimp muqueca and a side of fried yucca..." Read more

"If this is the first time you trying Brazilian cousin I promise you'll like it. Something different and very tasty, but nobody cares about you in here. We have been waiting to get seated, another 20 minutes took somebody come to take our order, the people are rude and unfriendly. We were not satisfied with service, and at the end waitress asked us to leave h..." Read more

"The seafood stew is good. I ordered it with mussels and fish, both smoked then stew in a tomato base soup, it's a bit salty but goes well with rice. The side gravy also tastes great."

"We had red snapper and fish moqueca. Red snapper was fried so that everything was totally dry. Fish moqueca was not tasty at all, toilets was also not clean. Only good thing about the place is smiling staff. That is all. I don't recommend this place."

"I am not familiar with Brazilian food too much so the food here was quite authentic to me. However it was really heavy and not tasty. For the money we paid (over 80 $ for 1 appetizer, 2 dinners, 2 drinks) we could not eat much. Simply put this place is quite average, there is nothing that wows you. Hence the food is way too pricey for what's offered. The red..." Read more

"+ Fun, clean, spacious environment. + Friendly servers. + Interesting, authentic-seeming dishes. - Often long wait times for dinner after ordering (longer than 1hr on multiple occasions). - Quite expensive for what is provided. - Most dishes not particularly flavorful or tasty."
