"It's true , we didn't have a long wait. Only about 5 minutes during lunch. I have the clam chowder in a sour dough bowl. There was hardly any soup in the bowl and the food was bland. Not what I came to San Francisco to have. I probably wouldn't tell anyone about this place."

But we didn't see our waiter once after receiving our food. Had to finish our meal without anything to drink and then wait over 20 minutes for him to even bring our check."

"We enjoyed our late lunch yesterday at Swiss Louis Restaurant on Pier 39 in San Francisco. The salad, entree and desert were very good. Our waiter, Norman was outstanding. He was pleasant, professional and went out of his way to take care of us. Norman made the experience for us."
