"We had a really nice waiter named Martin. Great views. Ordered the baked salmon with chili sauce, and fish and chips. Clean bathrooms but a really overpowering powdery fragrance inside. Check it out."

"I get that most of these restaurants at the pier are packed and are not hurting for business...but that doesn't mean lack of service! We came here for dinner on a Saturday night, they were the only restaurant without a wait and quite honestly, they were not at full capacity when we were there. It took our waiter a good 15 mins to even acknowledge our exist..." Read more

"The first time I came here, I thought it was fantastic.  The second time, they ran out of French fries and served our sandwiches with grilled vegetables instead.  They offered no other choices or apologies.  How do you run out at 1 PM anyway?  Whatever.  The food came out cold and the crab "melts" were more like solid blocks of cooler cheese from sit..." "Over all experience was adequate, the server was pleasant, attentive, informative and friendly. The food portions were small, and as an Italian being served cold bread and cold butter was an inconsiderate slap in the face, and The steamed vegetables were under cooked. The after dinner coffee tasted like It was made too strong and had been sitting all day. Ov..." Read more

"Excellent chocolate martini... Followed by a terrific plate of salmon cooked to perfection with 'aldente' vegetables! Would recommend without hesitation. Note this is a very busy restaurant, you may have to wait 15 min or so but soooo worth it!"

"We went here last night for dinner. I now know why we were able to make reservations for 6:15 on a Friday night. The service was horribly slow. We ordered appetizers and were handed two out of four dirty plates. The food was ok for the high price until I found a piece of plastic wrap in my pasta. The manager did not even apologize.  I would not suggest going..." Read more

"This is not a restaurant. They may have a menu, waiters and waitresses, and tables with people at them, but it truly isn't deserving of this title. I waited outside for about 20 minutes as it was a crowded Saturday afternoon. When I finally got a table, it was outside in the sun. Normally I wouldn't mind, but it was really hot and gross out. ..." Read more

"We had a party of 7 and it took about 20 minutes to get seated, which was good.  We then waited for about 10 minutes to get drinks ordered. We also asked for water, which didn't come until half way through the meal..which was 1.5 hours later. But we waited about 15 minutes for our appetizer  to arrive. We ordered the garlic bread and it was very bland, no ga..." Read more

"We live in San Jose and, although we don't like crowds or tourist spots as much, this is a hidden gem in Pier 39. Secluded away so it's easy to miss, but don't. So worth it. Top level, left side, very end. Keep going, you're not there yet. No, keep going."

"An interesting hybrid italian and seafood place (as the name suggests) in the middle of one of SF's main tourist hotspots - Pier 39. We got seated right as we showed up for a late lunch on Saturday. Then began the wait - the waiter took forever to get to us to even get our order for drinks, appetizers or even waters for the table. So -1 star, right th..." Read more

"If I could do 0 stars I would. I have been here before and it was amazing everything from the service the food excellent. Tonight I bought my friend from New Zealand here for a nice meal and it was god awful!! We only ordered a soda each it took over 20 minutes to come out. It arrived with soggy cold garlic bread. Then out came our main meals that we..." Read more
