"So many good places to eat nearby, please pick somewhere else! I ordered crab, and it was not edible. Had a very foul smell, and a frightful brown color to the meat. I informed the waiter, and they took it away and offered to bring me another plate of crab. NO THANKS! I asked for a refund for my meal, and left hungry. My husbands food wasn't rotten like mine..." "Silverware was dirty. Glasses were dirty. Bread was cold. Pasta was cold. Chicken was chewy. Staff was confused and rushed. No pepper on table. No straws available. 6% surcharge was added to the bill at the end for the city employment mandates... as a separate markup. The view was nice though. Worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. "If you're a tourist, please don't waste your precious vacation hours on this extremely below mediocre restaurant. It might look nice and agreeably in a great location, but it's nothing but a facade. The bathroom is extremely dirty. Service is bad - like the waiters are just forced to be there. One bus boy just keep freaking dumping/banging everything, making..." Read more

"My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant today on Pier 39 and we were very pleased. The food, fine with the view and atmosphere great. On top of that our waiter, Otabek, (thank you manager for the young mans name) was excellent. He was attentive and took great care of everything we needed. I would definitely return. So, I have had d..." Read more

"Since this place was on the touristy Pier 39 I wondered if it would be any good. Turned out to be a beautiful spot with attractive ambiance and great views. But more importantly good service and I think the best Lasagna ever."

"OK, we expected Pier 39 prices for a meal; after all, mining the tourists is what they do, but I never expected to pay over $100 for what was at best a mediocre meal for four.-Service was slow.-They charge you for bread.-The pizza was so hot my son had to wait some ten mins for it to cool off.-The chicken in the Chicken Alfredo was tasteless...." "Great food, wonderful service, and friendly staff--especially the host and our server. They have a festive Christmas set up in their patio area. We got the chicken parmigiana with ravioli, clam chowder, and fish and chips. Yum! We will be back soon!"

"I been to this restaurant before I had Yelp and it was way better then now. Their service is really slow and horrible especially when they said it was going to take 10 min but took up 30 to 40 min instead. Then the waiter ask if they can keep the change. I am questioning why would they say that? I told them no, I need the change back, but didn't give it back..." Read more

"Thumbs in the middle....A few notes...+ French bread was excellent- They charge you for it. Possibly the only restaurant that I've been to that does this.+ The clam chowder bread bowl was very good.- The amount of soup they put into it comes out to less than a cup.The fettuccine alfredo was pretty bland. The view was gr..." "Best baked salmon I've ever had. The chili sauce is to die for. Paired with the house Chardonnay, and it was great. Chowder was delicious as well! You can see Ghirardelli Square and the Golden Gate Bridge. Overall great experience."

"This was the worst place we visited in san francisco. So over priced. They must only be able to make it because of tourism. I guarantee no locals ever eat here. So bummed I spent money here. If there were the ability to give negative stars, then I would do so."

"Well well well. They totally deserve their 3 star rating. Everything is average at this restaurant. The only area they deserve a 4 star would be service. Food tastes like someone who knows the recipe but simply doesn't care. It's not bad but it isn't worth the price. The $22 fish filet tastes like something from a Safeway warmed up with some sauce. ..." Read more

"I made a mistake of choosing this place for a huge group of VIPs I was hosting in SFO. Our group was from another country and we brought a party of 25 pax into the place, with advanced reservation of course. The front desk were totally clueless, inhospitable and all decisions they had to make needed to be discussed with the manager. Due to the large group..." Read more

"Too bad. Food is very bland. No straws. No pickles. Bread for the table is an extra charge. Waters for the table never arrived. Keep moving through the Pier. This place is just not special enough for the patience required."

"The food was sup-par. The calamari and garlic sourdough bread were pretty good. The drinks weren't strong enough. The service was kinda slow. It is one of the least crowded places to eat on the Wharf because it is towards the back. The views of the Golden Gate and the sea lions were pretty nice though."
