"When we got there they were out of bread to offer the tables. The clam chowder was horrible, there was no clam, no veggies and no potatoes. Plain clam base is what you get. The crackers were stale and not edible. My wife had the lasagna and it was cold and gross. The calamari was okay but not the best! Overall, save your time and money eat somewhere else."

"The service was pretty good but the food was just average. I ate a pasta dish and was not too impressed. And the portion size was a little too small!"

"I found this restaurant to be a pleasant surprise among the tacky, touristy shops of Fisherman's Wharf.  Swiss Louis is a large, open restaurant with spectacular views of San Francisco Bay.  It's a restful seating environment that allowed our group of four to dine and take a breather from the hussle and bussle directly outside.  I enjoyed my Caesar salad and..." "We waited for half an hour only to hear we can't be seated next to each other from a rude host. Not the best way to run a Restraunt! Going somewhere else."

"Would have definitely given 1 star, but the view of the bay was nice and I got my parking validated. Food was very average. Grilled chicken sandwich/ clam chowder were not worth the price tag. Seeing the overall rating of this place I had good expectations when choosing to eat here over the other options at Pier 39. However, I was greatly let down wi..." Read more

""Happy hour" = half size drinks. Freindy but slow service, loud atmosphere but good view. Happy hour is basically a joke, we ordered chicken strips and fries what we got was equivalent  to a chicken strip fileted into 10 paper thin pieces 3 of which were our portion. We ordered 3 different drinks from the "HAPPY HOUR MENU" but we're informed..." Read more

"It started out well, with a nice welcome and we were shown to our table. Then things went for the worse since we found the menu to be kind of boring (we could have read it before we went in, so that was partly our own fault).. Our food came fast, however the quality was lagging at one of our dishes, it was extremely tasteless (chicken masala) Mine on the oth..." Read more

"Pier 39 can get packed with tourists, crowds and generally average food, but not here! The seafood is excellent and very tasty.  You cannot go wrong with the Dungeness Crab.  This particular entree is a little on the pricier side (and they charge extra for oven roasted garlic butter sauce), but it's presented in an easy to eat manner.  The crab meat has a fr..." "Lasagna is almost without any meat. There is no option to add meat to pasta. Feels like it's more a tourist place, rather a great food place."

"I was really looking forward to the crab sandwhich. I had one that was so delicious a few years back I was hoping there's would be amazing. It turned out ok. Pretty greasy but not bad. Margarita pizza was good but lacking basil for sure. I would have rated this place higher but the service is AWFUL! We waited forever to even get our drinks. Then after orderi..." Read more

"I get that most of these restaurants at the pier are packed and are not hurting for business...but that doesn't mean lack of service! We came here for dinner on a Saturday night, they were the only restaurant without a wait and quite honestly,  they were not at full capacity when we were there. It took our waiter a good 15 mins to even acknowledge our..."
